After the success of all the free Witcher DLC we’ve been given it’s now time to stump up some cash. CD Projekt Red is ready to announce the first expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Hearts of Stone.
The release date for Hearts of Stone is set as October 13th, 2015. Alongside the release date, a Hearts of Stone trailer has been released. This gives us some insight into the plot and shows us some of the scrapes we’re going to get ourselves into once we’re back in Geralt’s boots. The description also mentions that we’re being hired to head after a ruthless bandit captain in place of the monsters we’re used to.
Unfortunately neither the trailer nor the announcement have any details on how much the expansion is going to be, but we are excited nevertheless. Hearts of Stone adds roughly 10 more hours of content including a new romance option, new characters and more powerful monsters.
