As we told you previously, Larin Studios launched its Kickstarter campaign about one week ago to fund the expansion of ideas in their new game Divinity: Original Sin 2, the sequel to 2014s Divinity: Original Sin. In that time it has quickly gained funding and just surpassed its fourth goal and it doesn’t look like it is slowing down.

As of this writing, 27,596 backers have donated $1,256,858 to push the campaign over its fourth milestone, “Undead Origins”, and towards the fifth, “Pick a Skill Tree II”. There currently are only two more goals to go on their current plan, but Larin Studios is already planning to add more as they still have 23 days to go until the campaign ends.

Our campaign has expanded more rapidly than we ever imagined, and we’re hoping to meet the demand with a whole slew of new tiers. Sad you missed your chance for a signed Collector’s Edition? How about having your portrait painted and hung on an in-game foyer? Have a look at the updated sidebar to choose the tier that tickles your fancy. And remember: If we’ve introduced a tier you prefer to the one you already chose, you can always increase or decrease your pledge.

Furthermore, new tier changes translate into good news for those of you who already backed. Everyone who pledged $40 or higher will now receive a Digital Soundtrack Download at no addtional cost!

You can check out their latest update video below and read their post on what “Undead Origins” is all about and what they have in store for the bright future of Divinity: Original Sin 2.

As always, we’ll keep you updated when they announce and hit more tiers in this exciting campaign!
