343 Industries released the opening cinematic for Halo 5 on the YouTube channel. The cinematic features Locke and Fireteam Osiris, and their initial mission: to save Dr. Halsey.
Halo 5 has taken many steps away from the original trilogy, or even Halo 4. The game will feature two different man protagonists, Locke and Master Chief. Both Spartan’s have teams surrounding them, creating a more diverse multiplayer experience – if you aren’t in the same house. This is the first time that Halo will not feature split-screen co-operative missions, and instead limits you to online only experiences.
Halo 5 has an exclusive Xbox bundle, and two exclusive controllers on the way. The console and controllers will launch with the game, which is out October 27th.
