Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain collector’s editions owners will be very happy they picked one up, as reviewers have revealed it contains a really impressive extra.
The collector’s edition comes with a blu-ray that contains a half-finished extra episode, adding even more to the metal gear timeline. The episode on the collector’s edition disc is titled “Kingdom of the Flies.” Don’t worry, we won’t spoil any of the extras!
Billed to be episode 51 in the game’s story, the story is told via unfinished cut scenes interjected with storyboards. It’s fully voiced and features a variety of story details that somehow tie The Phantom Pain into other games along the hideously complex Metal Gear timeline. Specifically, Kingdom of the Flies will delve deeper into the plans of both Big Boss and Liquid Snake.
