Smite’s patch notes were released today on the official website, detailing a spectator mode, skins, a new God, and more.

The Xbox One has a new feature called Season Ticket, allowing players to acquire the ticket with gems and earn fantasy points in three different ways.

  • Buying FP with gems.
  • Picking winners of matches.
  • Winning SMITE qualifying games you have the Season TIcket Loading frame equipped.

You can use fantasy points to purchase ‘skins, wards, etc’.

Hi-Rez Studios have also improved the VGS, added a Friends list HUD, Teleporting items, Improved visual appearance in stores, and a new beta for a Spectator Mode.

Spectator Mode will allow you watch anyone on your friend’s list game, as well as keeping track of both teams statistics. When you switch to expert mode you will get much more of the action, and in the future you will be able to re-watch games previously recorded.

As exciting as those new features are, the main highlight of the patch is the new God: Khepri.

Khepri is a giant scarab with the role of protecting his team mates. His abilities allow him to shield himself and nearby allies, giving a powerful presence on the battlefield.

There have been a total of 13 new God skins added to the game, and 6 voice packs. Many items have received changes, as well as a quick tune up for most Gods.

Rising Dawn launches today on the Xbox One, so be sure to check it out!
