With MVP Phoenix already receiving an invitation, Team Secret become the second team to be directly invited to the MLG World Finals. The competition will be held over the course of three days, from October 16th to 18th. This will be the Major League Gaming’s 100th live event, taking place in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans the competition boasts a $250,000 prize pool.
With this invitation Team Secret have received a direct invitation to three LAN events. They will take part in Gaming – Paradise Slovenia and ESL One NY before travelling to New Orleans for the MLG World Finals. This is a good time for the new roster to get comfortable with each other, with plenty of games to be played.
MVP Phoenix will join Team Secret at the event after a successful campaign at TI5. MVP Phoenix were able to secure 8th place at TI, eliminating both NewBee and Team Empire in the process. With two of the direct invites sent out, there are only four left, with space for two more teams coming through the qualifiers.
