Microsoft has announced that they will be sponsoring yet another event for their upcoming release, Halo 5: Guardians. The Seattle Sounders MLS team was recently sponsored by Halo 5: Guardians recently and now the Hollywood Casino 400 Nascar event will be as well. Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s car will be decked out in a Master Chief pain job, while Jamie McMurray’s car will have a Spartan Locke paint job.
The Hollywood Casino 400 race will take place on Sunday, October 18. Much like the battle between Locke and Master Chief in Halo 5, Earnhardt Jr. and McMurray are sure to battle on the track.
Kiki Wolfkill, 343 boss, stated, “We have many NASCAR fans at the studio–myself included–and we’re excited to see both cars compete at Kansas Speedway.”
Microsoft is not holding back with marketing for one of their flagship titles. This event shows how important they feel Halo is to their console. Halo 5: Guardians has gone gold and will release on October 27th exclusively on Xbox One.
