Frogwares, the long-time developer of the Sherlock Holmes games, have announced they will be bringing a brand new Holmes mystery to fans in 2016 thanks in part to BigBen Interactive who will be publishing.

The developer of seven Sherlock Holmes titles including the latest, Crimes & Punishments, Frogwares have definitely been zeroing in on creating a true Sherlock Holmes experience and judging by the reviews it would seem the critics have noticed as the scores have steadily improved over the course of the releases with the last averaging at around an 8 out of 10. Much like the previous games, Crimes & Punishments continued the trend of increasing the level of storytelling and interactivity as well as the graphics and sound over the previous releases. One could only expect the next game in the franchise to top even that.

We know from a blog post that the game will be released in 2016. Rumor has it from multiple websites referencing a press release that the new game will be not only revealed at the Paris Games Week, but also playable. PGW runs from October 28 through November 1st. We’ll bring you more on this story during that time.
