Bethesda has confirmed that there will not, in fact, be a demo for it’s upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG.

Recently on Twitter, Bethesda marketing exec Pete Hines explained why it wouldn’t happen. When questioned by a fan on whether or not fan’s could expect a Fallout 4 demo, Hines was quick to cut the idea down.

“No demo,”Hines said, “Not possible to cut up the game into a small piece.”

With less than two weeks before the Fallout 4’s sprawling, bombed-out wasteland is opened to players, those on the fence and hoping for a demo are out of luck. Demo’s for large, open RPG’s are quite rare, with Bungie’s FPS/RPG hybrid Destiny being one of the few notable exceptions.

Fallout 4 releases on November 10 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
