In an announcement today by Nintendo, the release date for Mega Man Legacy Collection on the 3DS was given: February 23rd. The game, which includes the first six Mega Man games, was first released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One to positive reviews.

Alongside the release date information came the reveal of multiple editions for the game. The game will be available physically and digitally, but there will a collector’s edition as well. What sets the collector’s edition apart is the exclusive golden Mega Man amiibo, taking a cue from the golden Mario amiibo that was stocked exclusively at Wal-Mart. There will also be six postcards in the collector’s edition.

Nintendo also mentioned the ability to unlock challenges in the game via a regular or golden Mega Man amiibo.
