Just Cause 3 will reportedly receive a new patch this week that will “significantly” improve the long loading times many critics noted in their reviews of the title.
The patch, update 1.02, is set to release today for PC versions of the game and is expected to arrive tomorrow for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
“Since launch, we’ve been pouring through your reviews and comments to help us prioritize our fixes accordingly,” developer Avalanche Studios said in a post on the game’s website. “We know many of you have been patiently awaiting today’s patch, and this update is part of a much larger plan to optimize and improve the game. Thanks for your patience here.”
“To those of you still having issues,” it continued. “Rest assured we are working hard to alleviate these, and are listening very closely to everything that’s being said.”
