The music-streaming service Napster has been released on the Wii U in Europe. Napster is now a completely legitimate service offered by Rhapsody that allows for streaming of over 34 million of the platform’s tracks. Nintendo of Europe announced a partnership with Napster bringing the platform to the Wii U for no additional cost.

Although, the Napster app itself is free, users will have to have a Napster Unlimited subscription, which costs £5. You will then be able to use the Wii U’s gamepad to search for tracks, albums, and artists. You can also sync up the app if you already have it on your smartphone.

The Napster app is available now for all Europe Wii U users, no official word on if the app will be released in the US or Canada. You can sign up for a free 30-day trail of Napster Unlimited here. Stay tuned to Gamespresso for more news.
