The Rift is on its way to the global market early 2016. With that fact in mind, people have already started lining up and pre-ordering the headset for consumer use. Way earlier, it was confirmed that when you pre-ordered the Rift, you’d also obtain a free Xbox One controller. Now, you’ll also be given a free copy of EVE: Valkyrie.
EVE: Valkyrie is a specially made, multiplayer dog-fighting game that’s set in the EVE universe. CCP, the company behind EVE Online are handling the reins on this project and are hoping to get this game up and ready for not only the Rift’s release but the PlayStation VR. EVE: Valkyrie is looking simply astounding, especially through the use of VR tech. It’s going to be an exciting entry into the VR library. EVE: Valkyrie is slated for release alongside the Rift and PlayStation VR on Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 respectively.
