A market research firm called Infoscout recently published a list of highest earning products by retailer for Black Friday. For Best Buy, it appears as though that product was the PlayStation 4. It was the $299.99 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection that earned the top spot for the hugely popular electronics retailer.
This list was compiled using 151,337 receipts sent by customers using Infoscout’s app, so there is certainly room for error here. However, given the huge success overall of the PS4 this Black Friday, it would not come as a huge surprise if this story is proven true.
The NPD Numbers next month should confirm whether or not this story is unfounded.
