Pokémon is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year – and Nintendo is beginning by bringing back the classics.

A New 3DS bundle has been announced to release on February 27th, 2016 alongside the release of the original Pokémon Blue, Red and Yellow games on the Nintendo 3Ds Virtual Console. The bundle is set to include the smaller iteration of the New Nintendo 3Ds, two sets of faceplates for the system representing the Red and Blue versions of the game, as well as digital copies of both titles.

In addition to the bundle and the re-release of the original Pokémon titles, Nintendo will continue to celebrate the franchise throughout 2016 with a special commercial aired during the Super Bowl, the release of a new expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game titled “Generations,” as well as the release of 12 animated films across digital platforms such as iTunes, Google Play and more.
