For those of you in the Americas, Diablo III’s latest patch is now live. Patch 2.4.0 is one of the largest Diablo patches to date, and is launching on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 simultaneously.

If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will be unable to access the patch right now. For those of you that play multi-region, updating to 2.4.0 will make Asia and Europe servers temporarily unavailable.

The update introduces Greyhollow Island, a new location to adventure. Details on Greyhollow Island can be found here.

Additionally, Blizzard has updated all of the classes in the game. Multiple bug fixes have been implemented, and 24 custom designed set dungeons are now live.

Empowered rifts have also been added, giving players a fourth opportunity to upgrade a legendary gem. You can find full patch notes for the PC here. Console players will want to visit the official forums.
