With eSports growing more and more, it only makes sense that the number of games to have their own professional leagues would grow as well. Now it’s time that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six joined the ranks.

Ubisoft is combining efforts with the Electronic Sports League, or ESL, to create bring Siege to the competitive gaming world. Official Season One matches for this league will begin in March for Xbox One and PC. The total prize pool will be $100,000 with the final winning team taking home $50,000 for themselves. “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was built from the ground up with competition in mind,” Rainbow Six Siege Creative Director, Xavier Marquis, stated “We’re excited to partner with ESL, one of the biggest names in eSports, to deliver a league for Rainbow Six Siege fans to compete and enjoy the game they love.”
