Unreal Engine is one of the most prominent engines in the video game world right now. Since it was also open to the public, developers all around have been using it to make some amazing things. Now their horizons have expanded even more.
It is no secret that more and more developers are trying to get in on the virtual reality phenomena. Epic, however, not only wants to do it for themselves, but also wants to help others using the Unreal Engine. That is why they will soon be implementing a VR interface when working on the engine. Not only will you be able to make VR games, but you will be able to do it in VR. This way, you can see everything 1 to 1 as how the player will experience it for themselves.
Tim Sweeney, founder and CEO of Epic, said that they will reveal more about this at GDC in March. Indie developers, anyone who uses Unreal Engine, and gamers all around should be excited about this movement. Check out how it will work in the video below.
