It has been over two decades since the original System Shock hit PC’s with its three dimensional action and labyrinth of bone-chilling cyberpunk atmosphere. This title certainly has a strong following that will have to come together to make their wishes come true.
A remastered version of System Shock will be the subject of a Kickstarter campaign that will begin next month. Developer, Night Dive Studios stated, “We will keep the new game true to the classic experience, keeping all the things you loved, while updating the user interface and graphics to use a modern day engine (Unity).” The official announcement came from their Facebook page, which sighted June 29th, 2016 as the beginning of their Kickstarter. Let’s come together and make sure System Shock Remastered comes to life.
