One of the new games revealed at Microsoft’s E3 conference was a sequel to the open-world zombie game, State of Decay.
Showcased as a short 2-minute teaser trailer with a mix CGI footage and some gameplay showing off the 4 player co-op that the game will feature in the sequel. In the trailer, you see a muscle car driving down the road smashing zombies with the doors before they pull into a gas station and one character cleans the car to show off the game’s logo. The emphasis on co-op is shown with the tagline “Nobody survives alone” flashing on the screen.
The first State of Decay released in 2013 and became the second-fastest-selling Xbox Live Arcade game of all time with over 1 million sales.
State of Decay 2 will be available on both Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017.
