A fan-favorite from the PlayStation 2 era, Psychonauts, will be making its way to Sony’s newest console ‘soon’ despite some reporting that it may release tomorrow, June 7th.
The report came when the title appeared on The Drop on the Playstation Blog for the list of games that would be released this week, but has since been removed and was apparently printed due to error.
“Psychonauts is coming out soon, but not this week,” an update to the PlayStation Blog reads. “Apologies for the error. Stay tuned for final timing!”
The fact that the game appeared on The Drop this week likely means that the game’s release is just around the corner.
Psychonauts was announced to be coming to PS4 previously by developer Double Fine after it was revealed that the company will be launching Psychonauts 2 on the console sometime in the future.
