Online multiplayer games are changing for everyone. No longer is the run and gun technique holding players attention. Now, the hero shooter is upon us and teams are being built to support one another for the ultimate quest of dominance. Gearbox Software’s Battleborn is one of these hero shooters. While sales for the game started out strong, it is still losing the fight to the titan that is Overwatch. Perhaps this weekend’s event will bring in more players.
Being called the Lootpocalypse, Battleborn players will pick up some great gear this weekend like never before. Here is what Gearbox listed for the event:
• Further (temporary) increases to Legendary gear drop rates
• Major enemies will have a chance to drop Rare and Epic gear
• Increases to higher rarity gear from Rare and Epic Loot Packs
• Discounted Loot Packs
No matter how you like to play Battleborn, the discounted Loot Packs are a steal for anybody. Rare and Epic Loot Packs are being discounted at %25. If that is not enough, Faction Loot packs, containing taunts, skins, and more, will be sold at a dramatic %50 off. With these kind of deals, you could become a real hero overnight.
The Lootpocalypse is on now and will continue until Monday, July 18th at 8:00 am PT. Battleborn is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
