Microsoft gave Halo fans a taste of Halo Wars 2’s campaign at this year’s RTX expo. The event is a yearly gaming and internet culture convention hosted by Rooster Teeth.

Microsoft released a cut scene from the campaign for Halo Wars 2 at the event exclusively to convention goers. Even though Microsoft has not yet released the footage online themselves, some convention attendees have taken the liberty of uploading it online via recording devices. A big shout out to YouTuber IZUNIY for uploading the footage to his channel.

Even though the clip is only a little over a minute, it shows off what gamers can expect for the game.

Halo Wars 2 was shown off at this year’s E3 convention. Microsoft has also announced that the game will take advantage of the company’s new Play Anywhere initiative. If you buy a copy of Halo Wars 2 for Xbox One, you will also receive a copy of the game for PC and vice versa. This system also allows for cloud saves across both systems, but there will be no cross play between two platforms.

Halo Wars 2 is set to release worldwide on both Xbox One and PC on February 21, 2017.
