Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 4 will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 30.

The game will include everything from the original game, as well as bonus content that was added in later versions. This includes Ada Wong’s side story, the New Game Plus feature, and Mercenaries game mode.

For newcomers, a brief description of the game was written on the company’s official blog:

“Resident Evil 4, originally released in 2005, evolved the horror series’ formula in an exciting new direction, empowering players with unprecedented third-person aiming precision while defending themselves against hordes of clever new enemies called Ganados,” Capcom said. “Players could trip enemies with shots to the legs, or dial in headshots – sometimes with surprising and deadly results. Deep customization options permeate through the game, including a wide variety of fully upgradeable weapons, like pistols, shotguns, and rifles.”

The game first launched on GameCube, and was later ported to multiple platforms over the years including the PlayStation 2 and 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

In other Capcom-related news, the company recently teased future use of the mysterious dummy finger item that appears in Resident Evil 7’s demo.

Resident Evil 7 is planned to release on January 24, 2017 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
