2K games has released the sixth and final trailer for Mafia III. The trailer, titled, “The Mentors” introduces two supporting characters that will influence the game’s main character, Lincoln Clay, as well as the fate of New Bordeaux.
The video introduces us to Father James, a spiritual mentor and adoptive uncle to Lincoln. He “offers salvation,” according to the trailer, and seems to be the character that pushes players towards a righteous gameplay path.
The second character who is introduced to us in this trailer is John Donovan. He is an ex C.I.A. agent who served with Lincoln during his time in the military. Marked as one who “pushes vengeance” in the trailer, it is likely to assume that Donovan’s actions are intended to push players down a more unjustifiable path.
Along with this trailer, 2K has also released another trailer highlighting New Bordeaux and the many districts that makeup the city. This trailer along with the others that make up the Mafia III trailer series are available on the game’s official YouTube channel if you’re looking to dive into the world of Mafia III before the game releases.
Mafia III is set to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 7th.
