Crystal Dynamics has released a new trailer that shows off their upcoming DLC for Rise of the Tomb Raider. Narrated by Brand Director, Rich Briggs, the trailer begins by giving a small summary of the game as well as showing off some of the amazing tombs and landscapes that exist in the game.
Briggs then gives details about their new DLC coming to the game. The DLC, Blood Ties, will focus on the history of the Croft Manor and the secrets that are hidden behind its walls. The game will also focus on fleshing out Lara Croft’s character by giving us more insight on her childhood growing up in the manor.
The video then shows off what else Crystal Dynamics has in store for the Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration Edition. To Celebrate this occasion, Crystal Dynamics will also be bundling all of the current DLC available for the game into one neat package. The company will also be releasing character skins based on character models from older games. The retro styled skins are a fitting way to celebrate just how far the series has come over the past 20 years.
The Anniversary Edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on October 11th for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The PC version will follow in January of next year.
