A new update for 2K’s WWE 2K17 released earlier in the week. This extensive update patches some of the frame rate issues and bugs that were discovered in the game. Some are quite minute, including back end problems such as visual displays were not showing logos correctly or online match stability. Others are fixes to discovered bugs including audience members floating or save data issues when downloading from the WWE Community Creations content.

A full list of the 1.02 patch notes can be found on the 2K forum. While the major bugs have been fixed and tweaked, there are still some more fixes to be had. Some of the noted ones in the same forum post include the Hell in a Cell glitch, where you could not slam down an opponent through the top of the cage. The entire patch is roughly 4GB for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version.

It is noted that the patch also adds in: “Support for the WWE 2K17 Legends Pack downloadable content ahead of release.” This would appear to hint towards an impending release for the WWE 2K17 Legends pack, which will include additional characters such as Eddie Guerrero, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Sycho Sid, Tatanka and Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.

WWE 2K17 released on October 11th, 2016 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.
