A couple of teammates for Mass Effect Andromeda have been teased.
On Twitter, Mass Effect Andromeda voice actor Tom Taylorson was asked if Liam will be a romance option. Taylorson responded by stating: “Ryder’s in a body suit. Cora’s in a bodysuit. Liam’s in… cargo pants? Probably not…”

Earlier this month it was revealed that loyalty missions are coming back in Mass Effect Andromeda. Creative director Mac Walters spoke about the game’s loyalty missions: “I loved the loyalty missions. As a writer, one of the things I loved was the freedom to say ‘I know this character is coming along,’ so they can carry a lot of the narrative. That made my job easier, but it also made it more fun, because I could tell a more specific story in one of those missions.” Unlike previous loyalty missions, however, Andromeda’s will be more optional. The missions can be avoided without negatively impacting the story drastically.
It was also revealed what players will receive when they pre-order Mass Effect Andromeda. Those who pre-order the title will receive the Deep Space Explorer Armor, a multiplayer booster pack containing five XP boosters, and a bonus skin for their ship, the Nomad.
Mass Effect Andromeda will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in March 2017.
