EA has announced that there will be a free trial for FIFA 17 this weekend on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The free trial will give players full access to the game with a few exceptions. Only a portion of the game’s Journey mode will be accessible, but the rest of the modes can be played in their entirety. Also, if you are an EA Access member on Xbox One and you have already played 10 hours of the early trial prior to the game’s launch, then you will not be able to access this upcoming free trial.

You will be able to try out the game for up to 10 hours this weekend on Xbox One. It is not specified if the same time restriction applies on PS4, but if you run out of time and decide to the purchase the game then all of your progress will remain in the full game when it unlocks.

If you are playing on Xbox One and decide to make the purchase, FIFA 17 is currently on sale for 30% off (or 40% off for Gold subscribers) as part of the Xbox Black Friday sale.

The free trial starts on Thursday, November 24th at 10AM PST, and lasts until Sunday, November 27th at 11:59PM PST.
