It may be hard to believe, but the PlayStation 3 came out 10 years ago this month. Doesn’t that just make you feel old? What is even more stupendous with this milestone is the fact that it is also marks 10 years of the PlayStation Network. A whole decade of downloading and playing games right from your own console. Sony wants to help fans celebrate this occasion with a super sale.
The PlayStation Store 10 Anniversary sale has officially begun and it aims to give huge discounts to some of the greatest hits to arrive during this timespan. On the PS4, nearly every Grand Theft Auto as well as GTA Bundles are on sale with huge cuts. To highlight a more recent hit, Rocket League and plenty of add-ons for this indie title are also shown at great discounts.
The PlayStation 3, where this all started, is included in this sale. Most of the featured games here are classic titles, such as Max Payne, Metal Gear Solid, Neo Contra, and plenty more. Street Fighter Alpha 3 is a personal favorite I may just have to pick up. The PS Vita is being left alone either, with XCOM: Enemy Unknown Plus and others.
