Warhammer 40,000’s mobile game centered around Valgard Twice Slain, Space Wolf, has arrived on Steam Early access and is available to play on PC.
Space Wolf has you playing as the leader of the Space Wolves after your company’s Cruiser was ambushed, forcing you down to Kanak, a primal world described as a living hell inhabited by barbarian tribes. It’s a turn-based game where you fight using collectible cards that represent the weapons and abilities of the Space Marines.
The head of the development team, Dmitry Maksuyra says,”We have made a great PC game which offers both Steam community and Warhammer 40K fans a relevant experience they are looking for with enhanced graphics and classic PC features…The game will be distributed as a full paid one, without any in-app purchases, as many have thought. From the very beginning of its Early Access period, we will release the version with the original gameplay and in-game balance to see the reaction and gather feedback.”
The PC version of the game includes enhanced graphics, dynamic lighting, improved weapons and weather effects, overhauled gameplay, and improved UI elements and controls. Those that play the game in early access on Steam get access to a special Thunderwolf card and the full soundtrack composed by Chris Velasco.
