Bethesda has announced that those who preorder Fallout 4 on Steam will receive a new announcer pack for Dota 2.
Those who preorder Fallout 4 on Steam will receive a Mister Handy announcer pack for Dota 2. “The Dota 2 Fallout 4 Announcer Pack will replace the Default announcer and Mega-Kills announcer with the voice of everyone’s favorite robotic butler, Mister Handy,” The Steam page reads. Mister Handy is the three-armed robot that can be seen in the footage of Fallout 4 that has been released.
This is not the first Dota 2 announcer pack to feature characters from other games or media. Other announcer packs have featured characters such as GLaDOS from Portal, The Stanley Parable’s narrator, and Rick and Morty.
Fallout 4 will release on November 10th. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. No specific date has been given for the release of the announcer pack, though the Steam page did say that it should be out mid-November. It is unknown if the announcer pack will be available to purchase separately.
