Dark Souls III barely released in Japan last week, but somebody has already found an item duplication glitch within the game.
A Japanese Dark Souls III player whose screen name translates to “Fried Shrimp” has uploaded a video onto YouTube showing off the item duplication glitch. While the video does not actually show how the glitch works, it does show that the player has a large amount of duplicated items in their inventory and storage box. While the text is in Japanese, it is clear that each duplicated item shares the same traits as the original.
As it is not made clear exactly how the glitch works, you will have to figure it out yourself in order to become a killing machine. You can check the video out here.
Dark Souls III will release worldwide on April 12th. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is the fourth entry in the Souls series.
