The strange Fire Emblem crossover with the Shin Megami Tensei series has long since been on our radar ever since its announcement years ago. Late last year, the JRPG title was released in Japan and was met with positive reception among players.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE follows the story of youths who work for the Fortuna Entertainment talent agency. These young people learn about Mirages, souls who belong to legendary warriors. In this game, the youths try to not only learn to master their respective Mirages but to stop people who abuse these souls.
The gameplay blends Shin Megami Tensei mechanics in terms of attack affinities and turn based battle with the assets from Fire Emblem; more specifically, Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. In the trailer above you can see various characters are represented including Chrom, Tharja and Cain.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is slated for release on June 24th, 2016- Just 8 days away. The game will only be available for Wii U.
