A few hours ago, it was discovered by various forum boards that the Steam Helpdesk site had leaked several packages for games that were yet to be revealed. Some of these leaks are ports of various previously console exclusive titles such as Dark Souls III, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered. These games can be searched from the package database using their identification number. The currently discovered games plus their ID number include:

69024 DARK SOULS III
74693 Rise of the Tomb Raider (Pre-Purchase)
64178 FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster
71869 FINAL FANTASY VI
75298 Bad Rats Show
69606 GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN- for Beta Testing
78509 FlatOut 4: Total Insanity
82256 TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3
82252 TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2
82250 Ty the Tasmanian Tiger
66300 Half Life 3
82831 Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
82836 Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
76096 Journey

Yeah you read right, there’s a listing for Half Life 3. That leads little creedence to this entire leak. However, the Steam Helpdesk discusses this in a quick blog post; that, while this information does come from Valve, “third-party Steam developers can create and name their own apps/packages”. Due to this, many of the entries can be old and no therefore no longer be in development. The Half Life 3 package for instance is still not a guaranteed reveal.

Otherwise, this is as close as we can get for a ‘Half Life 3 confirmed?’ Maybe? Nah, probably not. I am extremely excited to get my hands on Final Fantasy X/X-2 remastered and Dark Souls III however.
