Mighty No. 9 is the upcoming title from Keiji Inafune’s Comcept studio finally has a release date. The game will be making its way to the Wii U in North America on 15th September and other territories on 18th September, and to make things even better, there’ll be a physical retail version as well as an eShop download. The 3DS will be coming “at a later point”, and a physical release has been confirmed for the handheld.
Comcept is teaming up with Deep Silver, the major publisher based in Germany that’s handled franchises such as Dead Island and Metro. It has been stated that thanks to the partnership, there be additions to the game. There will also be a ‘Ray’ DLC that’ll include an extra stage and boss battle. Not to mention that Kickstarter backers will get these extras and DLC for free, while the Ray content will also be included in the physical retail version.
