With developer Take-Two reporting their earnings for the previous year, 2K has confirmed that WWE 2K16 and NBA 2K16 will be coming this Fall. WWE 2K16 will be released on October 27th on both Xbox and PlayStation platforms. NBA 2K16 does not have a release date or announced platforms yet, but they usually arrive in early October.
The big rumor surrounding NBA 2K16 is that Spike Lee is directing the career portion of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. Leaked cover images have shown as much with wording such as “A Spike Lee Joint.”
As for WWE 2K16, the current generation iterations will probably maintain the same graphics overhaul and new engine as last year’s title, while the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions will keep the old engine.
