Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new live-action trailer for the upcoming Batman Arkham Knight game. This trailer has no gameplay, which in my eyes kind of sucks, but the premise is really interesting: it shows a bunch of ‘average’ people, in situations that compel them to become Batman.

While this is a pretty cool trailer, and any news for the upcoming Batman game is great in my eyes, I really wish they had included some gameplay in this one.

The reasons for the lack of gameplay in this is probably because Rocksteady already released a detailed new combat mechanic, allowing players to switch between allies, Nightwing and Batgirl to deliver finishers mid-combat. This however means that they had to up the amount of enemies in fight scenes. This, in a way, forces you to switch between characters.

Depending on what Robin, I’m extremely excited to have him in the game. Catwoman has played well in other Batman games as well.

Originally scheduled to launch in 2014, but pushed back to June 23, it will be coming out soon for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.

Copies of the game have started showing up on Amazon, showing that there will be two diferent copies. There will be the Comic Bundle, which includes a skin and an exclusive 25th anniversary verison of Grant Morrison’s acclaimed graphic novel Arkham Asylum: A serious House on Serious Earth. This sounds amazing, but me among other fans aren’t happy about the decision to not include all the DLC in this version.

More news coming soon, hopefully, about this new upcoming Batman game as we come closer.
