The Ratchet & Clank film was announced back at E3 last year but has gone pretty dark since then. Word surfaced from Hollywood Reporter today with some exciting news regarding the voice cast for the upcoming video game based movie. Sylvester Stallone, Rosario Dawson, John Goodman, Paul Giamatti, and Bella Thorne will all be contributing their vocal chords to voice act in the film.
The original voice cast from the Ratchet & Clank series will also be in the film adaptation. James Arnold Taylor, David Kaye, Armin Shimerman, and Jim Ward are the four voices from the video game series.
The film is going to be directed by Kevin Munroe, best known for TMNT, and co-directed by Cleland. Munroe will also help write the script along with Insomniac’s (developer of Ratchet & Clank games) TJ Fixman. The film is slated to arrive sometime later this year.
