Microsoft and EA have teamed up for a deal that offers players up to 12 months of free EA Access subscription time. The catch is you have to refer a friend to buy an Xbox One console.
Certain Xbox One owners have been sent a voucher code via email and if their friend uses the code to purchase an Xbox One console, which includes Forza Horizon 2 and three-months of Xbox Live, you’ll get a free 12-month subscription to EA Access.
The code is valid through June 21 via the Microsoft Store and will cost your friend £315. You’re also limited to just one referral (for those that receive the voucher code). If you’re unfamiliar with EA Access, the subscription service offers free access to NHL 15, Battlefield 4, Need for Speed Rivals, Peggle 2,Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14 and FIFA 15, EA Sports UFC, NBA Live 15, and Madden NFL 15.
At the time the offer is only available in the UK with no word on whether or not the promotion will extend to other territories in the near future.
