Activision has confirmed that Guitar Hero Live will launch on October 20, 2015.

The next entry in the Guitar Hero franchise will cost players $100 to pick up and is slated to launch on both last-gen and current-gen consoles: PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. To be announced mobile systems will also support the game.

Guitar Hero Live is said to take the game in a completely new direction for the franchises’ “revival,” including full-motion video, a brand new controller that feels like guitar strings, and a first-person perspective. The game will also feature a 24-hour live music network that will offer a variety of different preset and scheduled programming for players to utilize.
