Star Wars Battlefront is the much anticipated title in the Battlefront series. In anticipation of the new game, an image has been released on the EAStarWars Twitter feed.
On the EAStarWars feed, a new image showing the icy planet Hoth has been released (see the image below). Along with the image was some text, which read: “Its location is no longer a secret.” The image shows the rebels defending their base, and could be based off of the battle on the planet Hoth from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
Hoth is one of four planets in Star Wars Battlefront. The other planets include Sullust, Endor, and Tatooine. There will be 12 maps stretched across these four planets. Players can also play as hero characters, such as Boba Fett and Darth Vader, and pilot a variety of vehicles.
The game’s first DLC has already been announced: Battle of Jakku. The DLC will take place before the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Players who pre-order the game will receive the DLC a week early on December 1st. It will be available for all players on December 8th. The DLC will be free to all players.
Star Wars Battlefront will release on November 17th. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. More on the game should come at this year’s E3 in a couple of weeks.
