A trademark has been registered in Europe for a new title called “Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst.”

The trademark was filed by UK law firm J A Kemp earlier today in relation to “computer game software” and “entertainment services.”

There has been no official confirmation on whether this trademark is connected to the previously announced Mirror’s Edge 2, scheduled for release some time next year. Although the subtitle “Catalyst” certainly falls in line with the game’s goal to tell the origin story of main character, Faith.

In addition to the trademark, a new website has also appeared, https://www.mirrorsedgecatalyst.com/. The game’s official Twitter account has also begun teasing fans with the definition of the word “catalyst.”

Whether or not this trademark reveals the new title of Mirror’s Edge 2 remains to be seen.
