Remedy Games’ TV show-turned action video game Quantum Break has been listed on the Xbox Canada website as due to release between March and May 2016. The website states the game as being available in ‘Spring 2016’, although neither Microsoft nor the developer Remedy Games have confirmed this.
The game was pushed back from its original 2015 release date, giving Quantum Break its own release window. Xbox has a pretty strong line up at the moment, with more games to be announced and E3 just two weeks away; it’s probably for the best that Quantum Break isn’t going up alongside Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fable Legends and Forza 6 – lest it be cast in their glorious shadows, and have the game’s own appeal lost under predisposed hype.
Get ready for the fusion of a ‘cinematic action game and top of the line live action show’ to come in 2016, extending the list of Microsoft exclusives you’ll want to get your hands on.
