An Imgur user recently posted photos of his daughter’s first birthday party and it is so adorable. Backstory: The happy parents fell in love while trying to complete Yoshi’s Island together. It’s fitting that they have a Yoshi’s Island themed birthday for the product of their love.
Before my wife and I were married we spent a lot of our evenings together playing Yoshi’s Island. It was coincidentally both of our favorite childhood game, so we always said it was one of the reasons we fell in love with each other. Our daughter’s first birthday party was Yoshi’s Island themed in dedication of this, and since we call her by her nickname, “Tootsie”, we decided it would be fun to have the party be “Tootsie’s Island”.
Having video game themed birthday parties and bedrooms is a great idea, and makes for great memories, as well.
