Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer took to Twitter recently to respond to some questions about the upcoming backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games announced for Xbox One. Spencer responded to fan comments, providing insight into the development progress and plans.

Spencer mentions that the backwards compatibility (BC) team is planning on bringing Microsoft’s entire first party collection of Xbox 360 games to the BC portfolio. Current Xbox Preview members can try out the feature, but Spencer notes this preview is to optimize emulation, not to show off the portfolio. The feature is scheduled to be available to everyone this fall.

In his responses, Spencer notes a few difficulties in bringing every title to the Xbox One. This includes licensing issues for songs and logos and game saves. The Fable Trilogy was also teased as a title being brought to Xbox One via BC.
