Since Call of Duty: Black Ops in 2010, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, have been receiving the DLC before PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Once the last DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare releases in September, the new Call of Duty will launch in November. For the foreseeable future, the DLC will be releasing first on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Although the PlayStation 3 was not favoured by developers over the Xbox 360, it appears like the tides are changing in this generation. Sony has gotten several developers to sign on as exclusives, including No Man’s Land, and Shenmue III.

Although the rights to the DLC doesn’t mean that Microsoft’s console won’t be receiving the DLC, it will come out a few weeks later then it would for Sony consoles.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s last DLC, Reckoning, is released September 4th and will add 4 new maps to the game.
