Warner Bros. gave us a sneak peak at what kind of unlikely pairings and stories that will unfold in the new Lego Dimensions game. Players will link up from realms like The Wizard of Oz, Back to the Future, Lord of The Rings, and Batman.
This is explained by way of a “mysterious and powerful vortex” that appears out of nowhere, sweeping characters from the various franchises away into an alternate universe. Together, they must fight against the forces of an evil mastermind named Lord Vortech.
Other entertainment franchises that will make an appearance include Scooby-Doo, The Simpsons, and Ghostbusters. The game is set to release September 27 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and Wii U.
