EA has recently announced they will be offering a full game early access trial of Madden NFL 16 starting August 20. This comes five days before the game’s official release and is exclusively for subscribers of EA Access.
The ten hour trial is an increase from last year’s six hour trial for Madden NFL 15. Madden NFL 16 is the third title this year to feature a ten hour trial period, the other two being Battlefield Hardline and Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. It is unknown if this increase will continue to future EA titles.
The trial itself will only be available on Xbox One, however the game will also come to PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360.
EA Access is a subscription-based gaming service initially released on August 14, 2014 for Xbox One. The service grants subscribers access to various free games and a ten percent discount on EA digital content.
