Windows 10 is rolling out across the globe and some gamers are wondering how the new operating system might impact their PC gaming. Christ Roberts, creator of Star Citizen, said players won’t have any issues playing his game.

Roberts explained that the Cloud Imperium Games team ran into issues when adjusting their builds to Windows 10, but they are being fixed now and will be ready for launch. “We definitely will be working to make sure that we’re compatible on Windows 10 from the beginning. I’m not aware of major problems if someone upgrades to Windows 10,” said Roberts.

Star Citizen is the highest crowdfunded project in history, currently at $85.4 million. Recently the FPS mode, Star Marine was delayed, but is still on the way.

Microsoft has an offer available for Windows 7 and 8 users to upgrade to Windows 10 for free during the OS’s first year. Microsoft also announced a beta for a Windows 10 version of Minecraft available now.
